Description
Anato Investment Group, LLC is an innovative, alternative investment management company focusing on extracting value from anomalies within the structured product markets. Anato specializes in identifying and creating asymmetric opportunities and capitalizing on inefficiencies. Anato’s comprehensive analysis of deal structure, asset cash-flows (past and postulated future) and legal intricacies provides greater insight in the identification of opportunities. Anato seeks to deliver strong-risk-adjusted returns without the use of conventional leverage (leverage will mainly only be used for hedging purposes). Anato is led by Bret M. Ackerman with more than 18 years of experience in structured products securitization and the trading and placement of bonds, primarily at Bear Stearns and Barclays.
Anato is deeply rooted in philanthropy. Translated from its Sanskrit origins, Anato means ‘No Self’ or ‘No ego’. It is the embodiment of this philosophy that dictates Anato to create a philanthropic trust and contribute a large percentage of performance based fees to both the growth of the trust and direct distribution to philanthropic entities.
